Santa Fe, New Mexico not only has the most terrific restaurants, art, history, culture, sunshine, and diversity but at the end of February will also have a Stacy Barnett workshop!
Learn the ins and outs of scent theory as it relates to hide design so that you can bring impact and power to your training sessions. Learn how to set up specific scenarios and puzzles to build your dog’s skills so you move up the levels with ease. You will leave this seminar knowing how to gauge the challenges certain trial sites and situations offer as well as understand why and how your dog is working particular searches.
Stacy is a longtime FDSA student and trains her Nosework dogs using FDSA methods. She also teaches for them. She also trains with top local NACSW trainers and Elite Level Certifying Officials on a regular basis. Stacy is herself a judge for Performance Scent Dogs. With this and her degree in Chemical Engineering, Stacy has developed a solid understanding of Scent Theory with many tools in her toolbox. She prides herself in being able to bring creative solutions to build odor obedience, confidence, drive and motivation for the sport. Learn more at scentsabilitiesnw.com.
