Connie specializes in companion dog behavior and training using rewards and play, relationship building techniques and the dog’s natural communication to create a partnership based on mutual respect and trust. Working with and training dogs since 1997, her training philosophy is shaped primarily by John Rogerson, a renowned dog trainer and behaviorist from England. Further training includes an intensive course on wolves and dogs at Wolf Park, Indiana. Comprehensive study with Turid Rugars of Norway and courses with Linda Tellington Jones, founder of Tellington TTouch on animals and humans play an integral part of her approach with you and your canine partner. Connie, a life-long resident of Santa Fe, enjoys hiking with her three rescue dogs. Her belief in “changing the world, one dog at a time” has helped hundreds of dog owners and their companions learn to communicate, cooperate and respect one another.
