Our Policies
Each pet must have an approved registration on file, and paid a one-time $12 evaluation fee.
Requirements
We require all dogs who visit us provide proof of current DHLPP or DAPP, Bordetella & Rabies vaccinations, and are at least twelve weeks old. Owners must certify dogs are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition within 30 days; dogs who do not meet this requirement must have a veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted. All dogs seven months or older must show proof of being spayed or neutered. To ensure the most positive, fun-filled atmosphere for your companion, all Lucky Dawgs must be non-aggressive and show no signs of resource guarding.
Reservations & Cancellations
Reservations are required. Please call ahead at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance or full fees will be charged.
Our Facilities
Lucky Dawg provides a safe, fun, and interactive environment for your best friend. With trained professionals who understand dog behavior to carefully watch over your pooch while they play with new pals. Our 1800 square foot indoor space and outdoor play area are centrally located, convenient to everywhere in Santa Fe. A licensed veterinarian is always on call during business hours, and staff members are trained in basic animal first aid.
Whether you live in the City Different or are just visiting, Lucky Dawg Daycare has a plan to fit your lifestyle. Choose a full or half day option: Feel free to get out for the day, or let your pup spend the day with us while you head to the office. Whatever your schedule, we offer passes for multi-dog or multi-day discounts.

At Lucky Dawg Dos, boarding feels like home. We offer a cozy, family‑style environment that most pups naturally settle into—relaxed, social, and full of those familiar home comforts. Every dog becomes part of our pack, and we make sure their stay is as stress‑free and enjoyable as possible. Every boarding Dawg must pass a Daycare Evaluation.

We offer two styles of boarding so every dog can rest the way they prefer.

If you prefer your dogs to stay together in their own quiet area, we’re happy to accommodate. Just let us know during booking and we’ll create the setup just for them.

Crates, Bedding & Belongings
We provide clean crates, bedding, and all the cozy essentials — nothing is required from home.
However, we understand that some pups feel most comfortable with their own crate/bed, blanket, or favorite toy. You’re always welcome to bring personal belongings to help your dog feel right at home. If you bring a crate, we’ll set it up for them exactly how they like it at home. -

A hooman is on‑site at all times. Your dog is never left alone, ensuring constant safety, comfort, and peace of mind for you.

We’re a small, hands‑on team that treats every dog like our own. From the moment they walk through the door, your pup becomes part of our pack. We focus on comfort, routine, and connection, making sure each dog feels understood and cared for individually.
Anthony Roybal, longtime pack member, is thrilled to continue the 22-year Lucky Dawg legacy started in 2004 by Alpha Kathy Jackson. We look forward to welcoming our clients and adding more paws to the pack as we continue to expand. Longer play times, weekend daycare, and 24/7 boarding.
Whether your pup is joining us for daycare or boarding, our goal is always to create a stress‑free environment where they can relax, play, and be themselves.
