Tellington Ttouch and Groundwork Workshop with Connie Dillon

Saturday, November 14th 12:30 – 4:30 pm
Location: Lucky Dawg Daycare
Cost: $45.00 + tax

This workshop is designed to help you learn how to achieve a calm and confident dog based on understanding and cooperation.

Specific movements over obstacles (groundwork) and Ttouches (bodywork) are used to increase body awareness and build confidence. New situations help develop a dog’s confidence. The Ttouches will help release tension and improve circulation in your dog’s body thus creating a greater sense of well being.

Come and have fun learning with your dog.

Ron Gaunt Nose Work Seminar November 21- 22

Ron Gaunt, founder of the National Association of K-9 Scent Work, greets Kaili, a 9-year-old Coton de Tulear, while her owner Cynthia Fry, of Seattle, grips her leash during a nose work competition at Harmony Elementary School on Sunday March 20, 2011. (Zachary Kaufman/The Columbian)

The Saturday working spots will be for dogs who are working on their ORT(s) or NW1. It is recommended that the dogs are working on all the odors (birch, anise and clove)

The Sunday working spots will be for dogs who have already achieved their NW1 title and are working on all 3 odors (birch, anise and clove).

All searches are tailored for each dog’s needs and learning capacity. Each workshop’s structure is ideal for shy or reactive dogs since each dog/ handler team works one at a time and all other dogs are resting in their crates while waiting their turn.

PLEASE NOTE THAT DOGS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE TRAINING ROOM WITH HANDLERS UNLESS THEY ARE WORKING. DOGS WILL STAY IN THEIR VEHICLES. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
